Biography: Ted Williams
Ted Williams grew up in Dayton, graduating from Polson High School and the University of Montana. He earned a doctorate in chemistry from Washington State University and spent much of his career as the laboratory director for the Michigan Public Health Department and Department of Environmental Quality.
Ted’s grandfather’s family homesteaded in Proctor in 1908. While working on the ranch with Grandpa, he heard many stories of the good old days in the Flathead valley. He had a wonderful childhood around the lake, on the lake, and much of it in the lake.
Ted and his wife Peggy have two daughters and four terrific grandkids. Ted and Peggy were happy to move back home to Montana when they retired.
