Originally from an agricultural area outside Buenos Aires, Argentina, I came to the U.S. in 1989 to study at Wheaton College in Massachusetts. A continuing love for nature led to my Masters in Environmental Studies at Yale School of Forestry. I then spent two years in Brazil working on community development and resource protection.
After returning to the U.S. to get married, I worked for The Nature Conservancy helping identify critical areas in western Massachusetts. I joined the Flathead Lakers staff as Critical Lands Program Director in 2000. I feel fortunate to be continuing to work on community based resource conservation in the Flathead Basin.
