Join us Jan. 3 at the Flathead Lake Brewing Company!

With aquatic invasive mussels now on our doorstep, we are bringing together a regional panel of experts to discuss this very serious threat.  Bring your questions and concerns.

Visit www.scienceontapflathead.org for upcoming speakers and archived video of past events.

We were dismayed to learn that invasive mussels have made it to Montana. Invasive mussel larvae were recently discovered in water samples from Tiber and Canyon Ferry Reservoirs.

We are working with our Aquatic Invasive Species partners to determine steps needed to respond to this threat. We will need your support for new legislation in the upcoming legislative session and for additional funding to prevent these invaders from spreading to Flathead Lake.  See our letter to Governor Bullock for more information.  Please continue to spread the word about how important it is to clean, drain, and dry your boat to help  keep Flathead Lake mussel-free!

Thanks to everyone who joined us. We love your enthusiasm for our
cause – protecting our magnificent lake and clean water in its
spectacular watershed.

We were delighted to present our 2016 Stewardship Award to Liz and Rusby Seabaugh (shown here with President Greg McCormick).  Thank you Liz and Rusby for being conservation leaders and helping protect our clean waters.
